To weigh or NOT to weigh?

I have heard both sides of this argument. Should you weigh yourself everyday when you are trying to loose weight, or not?

I have found personally that it helps me if I do weigh myself every morning. I find it gives me a reminder (a checkpoint) every morning, I can see if I have lost weight or if I have not. If I notice the pounds going up, I know that I have to step up the exercise and pay attention to what I am eating.

I knowa that the number is not the end game in this journey, but by weighing myself everyday, it keeps me aware of what is going on with my body.

So if I put nothing else on this blog, I will try to put a weight update each day.
