Sorry to keep you waiting!

Did not realize that it has been almost a week since I posted last. I did not mean to keep you waiting!

I have mostly been keeping up with my couch to 5k program and just finished up Week 5of 9. This was by far the hardest week I have had, the running exercises are no longer the same each day as they have been the previous weeks. And on the final day it was a full 20 minute jog with no walking breaks. (I made it to about 13 minutes before I took a short walking break).

But considering that 5 weeks ago when I started this program, I could barely run for a minute straight I have to say that I am doing pretty good being able to get through a run of 20 minutes with only a few short walking breaks!

Way to go me!

So I am starting Week 6 and continuing to go to Core Fitness and get in some weight training as I can. I am taking two college classes this fall and they started this week, so it has thrown my schedule into a little bit of a funk, but I will get adjusted quickly.

As a bonus, here is the recording of the last time I was on the radio. Everyone keeps asking when I will be on again. I do not know, that is up to the KZIA gang to call me and check in, my job is to keep exercising and get in better shape!

Yesterday's Broadcast.

For those of you who missed my broadcast yesterday on the radio, I have provided it here. I think my voice is too nasally. Not much I can do to change that, maybe if I lose a lot of weight my voice will change and then I can have that deep baritone radio voice I have always wanted.

I did go visit a gym this morning to see what they offer and how much the memberships cost. My wife and I are going to visit another gym later today. We will probably make a decision about whether or not we will join a gym or not in the next few weeks.

Do gyms help or are they just a waste of money? I do not know, any thoughts?
