I have not changed much in my life, I am getting out for a walk most days. I have a loop in North Liberty that I walk around, it is a little over 2.5 miles and it takes me about an hour to walk. If it is raining I get on my treadmill and exercise bike downstairs and try to get in at least an hour workout in. I have really only taken one day "off" during this time, I just needed to rest.
I think one of the major things that has helped me in the short term is that I have stopped having soda everyday! I used to drink two or three sodas a day, now I have only had 3-4 sodas in the last couple weeks. I have started drinking more and more water (probably saving quite a bit of money too!).
One other thing that I found has helped me was to have the shirt hanging up where I see it first thing in the morning. This helps for those mornings that I don't feel like doing anything, I see the shirt and remember the fact that I made a promise to myself to loose the weight and I know that the guys who wore the shirt before me have done it, so it gives me extra motivation.
